$16 Million Contract Award Largest in Alliant Healthcare Products’ History

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Sept. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Grand Rapids, Michigan-based Alliant Healthcare Products recently received the largest single order in the company’s 13-year history. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs placed an initial $10.9 million order as part of a $16 million 5-year contract for high tech endoscopes used in surgical procedures for veterans. The technology is based on Olympus’ Evis Exera III platform that allows hospitals to integrate endoscopes used for high definition video, ultrasonic imaging, and 3D surgical images on a single system throughout the entire hospital.  “These are the most advanced diagnostic tools available for veteran care,” according to Eric Albery, Director of Marketing for Alliant Healthcare. Alliant Healthcare Products is a company on the rise, literally. Grand Rapids, MI based Alliant Healthcare Products announced today that the Defense Logistics Agency has awarded the company with a new High Tech Medical Equipment (HTME) contract valued by the government at $4 million in the first year of the contract.
